Revenue and Corporate Services Division

With 33 years of experience in the civil service, Denise's most recent past positions include Chief Financial Officer of Enterprise Saskatchewan where she led the introduction of lean to the organization. She was also Associate Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation. She is a Certified Management Accountant.

The Division assesses, invoices, collects and audits resource revenues and taxes.  It administers financial incentives to encourage mineral exploration, renewable fuels production and small business development.  It also provides leadership and support in the areas of information and privacy, internal audit and public service renewal.

The Division also manages central services in the areas of finance, information management, and other operational services that include head office and program-based accommodations and capital improvements required for the delivery of the ministry’s mandate.  It oversees process review, including the Process Renewal and Infrastructure Management Enhancements (PRIME) Project, to modernize and transform the government’s oil and gas business systems for industry.

 Key functions:

  • Audit and collections on non-renewable resource revenue
  • Information technology strategy and support
  • Lean initiatives
  • Legislative, contract and legal services, information and privacy, and records management
  • Financial programs including Invest in Saskatchewan (Labour-sponsored venture capital corporations)
  • PRIME Project (Process Renewal and Infrastructure Management Enhancement Project): replaces Economy’s three major oil and gas systems with one integrated system
  • Central revenue and financial services for the ministry
